Great life experiences.

I'm only 15 years old. I know that's gonna make a lot of you question my credibility on anything I say, but please just hear me out. I know I seem young to be talking about life-changing experiences, but I do believe I've had one. I'm a freshman in high school, and I'm on the Cross Country team for my school. Throughout the entire season, we worked toward one goal: taking the state title. We all grew close together as we worked and worked to attain it. We motivated one another, grew to love one another as brothers. We became a family. That kind of comradery never dies. We went on to win the state title, which brought us even closer. Tonight, we had our season-ender banquet. There were awards handed out, and at the end, there was a video summary of the season. It was very emotional, but in a good way. Everyone was laughing at funny pictures, or cheering on someone's recorded race finish. I've been changed as a human being as a result of this Cross Country season, and I think I've been changed for the better.

Is anyone even reading this?

I know I'm coming off as kind of a negative person, but that's not really who I am. I'm really quite cheerful, it's just a bunch of negative stuff is happening right now. Once it's over and I (hopefully) have a bigger audience, I'll write better stuff! I promise!

Not what you think...

I love living in Oklahoma. Sure, we have the occasional tornado, but everybody is friendly, and the weather is generally pretty good. However, we've had a few earthquakes recently. Personally, I'm tired of them. Not the earthquakes themselves, but the immediate flurry of Facebook posts about the "end of the world". Do people REALLY think that a few weak earthquakes in Oklahoma are a sign of impending doom? If so, I'm worried about the direction humanity is going...

Starting to get the hang of this...

This is starting to become less of a foreign concept to me now. I think I'll see the appeal more and more as time goes on with this. Just thought I'd let anyone who's reading this know that! That group of people includes probably one person right now, though.

Gonna complain about my complaining?

I just love when stuff glitches up on me, don't you?

Oh wait, I forgot...I hate that.

Don't judge me, I'm new.

So, this is my first blog post ever. I'm already having my blog title be weird on me...it says it's changed, but it's not reflecting that. Anyway, I'll write more stuff when I think of something worth writing about!
