Try new things.

This weekend I went to a thing called a UU rally. It's a church event hosted by a different Unitarian church each time, and it's basically a bunch of UU teenagers getting together and having tons of unstructured fun. Going in, I was somewhat dubious as to whether I'd have a good time. It turned out to be the greatest weekend of my life. I made about thirty new friends, most of whom I got to know before learning their names. By the end of the rally, I was unbelievably sad to leave. It made me realize that I need to try new things more often. The time from now until the next rally is going to seem to drag on, even though it's only a few months.
