Dreams...

Ever had that experience where the dream you had the night before sets how your day goes? Yeah. Me too. In fact, it happened to me today. I had a dream last night that was the kind of dream that you wish with all your heart could be a reality. In my dream, I was with all my friends, including the one who's moved away, and my subconscious had created a girlfriend for me. She was essentially my dream girl (no pun intended) and we clearly had a great relationship. When I woke up, I felt hopeful for those first few delirious seconds, but then I came crashing back to reality. I was demoralized, as I had these vivid, happy memories of a girl who never existed in the first place. It may have been a wonderful dream, but it effectively ruined my morning, and the rest of my day. It also made me realize just how much I want a relationship right now.
